we love philly but we are getting out of town for a couple of weeks to celebrate the beginning of our married life together! all of the gifts on this website will help build a once-in-a-lifetime trip and memories that we will share for the rest of our lives. in the meantime, we look forward to the day that we'll make our commitment to each other permanent and the celebration of it with the people most special to us, our friends and family - you.

Cairns Rainforest Tour

Cairns Rainforest Tour

This day will start by being picked up from our hotel for our transfer to Caravonica Lakes, the departure point of our tour. We will board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to commence a full day Kuranda Classic Tour. We'll glide above the rainforest canopy to Kuranda with stops along the way at Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station. On arrival at Kuranda we will enjoy time to wander through the Kuranda Village before transferring to the Rainforestation Nature Park for lunch and a performance by the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance Troupe and the Dreamtime Walk including boomerang throwing, spear throwing and didgeridoo playing. We will then tour through the rainforest in an amphibious Army Duck and visit the Tropical Fruit Orchard. We can visit the Koala and Wildlife Park to have your photo taken with a koala, hand feed kangaroos and view crocodiles. They day continues by transferring to Kuranda Railway Station to board the Kuranda Scenic Railway. We'll enjoy spectacular views as the train travels through 15 hand cut tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls, and stop at Barron Gorge to view the falls before arriving at Freshwater Railway Station and getting dropped off at our hotel.
